About This Kitten

I have two kittens that are now 8 weeks old and ready for their forever homes. The story begins .. I own land and we sometimes find that stray farm cats choose to have a litter in our containers.. we had a litter that were abandoned and almost dead we gave them to a sanctuary. This time I was walking down the track and saw what I thought was an injured magpie flapping awkwardly and screeching so a ran down to it and it turned and grabbed something and tried to fly away ... But dropped it and I saw it was a baby kitten only couple weeks old. The magpie was attacking it. I found a box and went around the normal areas we have found them before and found another one. The mother looks like a Bengal but is definitely feral we made a den but she was not looking after them they had ticks and fleas we kept trying. Eventually we took them in and hand reared them which was alot of very hard work that I wouldn't want to do again. We called the Bengal one Maggie for surviving the attack.. the other one peaches due to her colours. They are both vet checked healthy sweet loving and playful hand reared beauties .. They had so much human attention being siringe fed they are very cuddly the peachy one is slightly bigger than her sister and bit fluffy (must take after the dad) bengal one is an image of the mother cat that we are still trying to catch to get spayed. These girls are full of character and In need of family forever homes. They have will be turning 8 weeks next week according to the vets opinion of the age they were when found. They are now off of the kitten replacement milk and are eating whiskers kitten pouches and whiskers kitten crunches. They are more then ready to be loved...we unfortunately can't keep them as we have 3 older cats that are in retirement age ... Not willing to except the kitten energy. Feel free to text me as I can't always answer my phone in work. We asking for 150 each to ensure they go to real homes not just to use them as breeding machines. we have also put alot of time ,and energy ,money into these girls If someone willing to take both girls we reduce price.. as that would be amazing if they could stay together.

Bengal Kitten Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Bengal.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a kitten can be rehomed.
  • By law, all cats MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as TICA registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new kitten:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the cat first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the cat/kitten without you viewing it first
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Bengal Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website
  • Seller asks you to send money to a bank account with a different name to the person you have been communicating with
  • The cat/kitten is advertised significantly cheaper than similar listings

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
